- Today a partnership has been announced between RAM and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing which will see them join forces on racetracks around the world.
- Diehard motorsport fans and customers of the American pickup both share a passion for power and agility on any terrain.
- Four RAM 1500s have been made available to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams to travel to the most famous racetracks in the world.
- Logistics and operations of RAM trucks entrusted to two major international Commercial Partners : AEC and KWA.
RAM and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing have announced a partnership which will see them join forces in three different competitions in 2022: the FIM Motocross World Championship, the FIM Enduro World Championship and the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. The collaboration is based on the brands’ shared values of power and agility, as well as on their innate ability to overcome any obstacle with grit and determination.
The partnership will officially debut on the weekend of July 16-17 during the FIM Motocross World Championship round in Loket, Czech Republic. The American brand has put four RAM 1500s—two RAM 1500 TRX models, a RAM Laramie Night Edition and a RAM 1500 Rebel—at the disposal of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams to travel during the remaining 2022 season. As part of the agreement, the RAM logo will be present on the MXGP motorcycles and around the paddock during the entire season, as well as on all of KTM’s social media channels—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Moreover, RAM trucks will be on show during some scheduled events.

RAM: number one in high-quality new vehicles
RAM Truck was launched in 2009 in the US as a stand-alone division, focused on meeting the demands of truck buyers and delivering benchmark-quality vehicles. With a full lineup — RAM 1500, 2500/3500 Heavy Duty, 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab — RAM designs trucks which aid customers in heavy-duty work and take them wherever they need to go. KTM: a staple on the global motorsport scene for years

RAM 1500 TRX: the most powerful truck of all time
The fastest and most powerful half-ton pickup, the RAM 1500 TRX was designed and tested to last long and perform well under the most extreme conditions.
The 702-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI® V-8 engine has been paired with a high-capacity TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and offers uncompromising performance which allows for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. With luxurious interiors, fine materials, meticulous attention-to-detail, quality and driving comfort, the RAM 1500 TRX stands out as a leader in its segment for its refinement and sophistication. Furthermore, it has raised the bar in terms of power, performance, durability and technology thanks to the features which had yet to be seen in pickups.
For even better on-road and off-road capability, its top-of-the-line driving and handling are aided by an all-new, custom suspension system made up of high-quality parts and tuning geared towards high-speed racing. Made for facing the most difficult situations with ease, the RAM 1500 TRX is capable of fording water up to 812.88 mm, towing up to 3,674 kg and carrying a payload of up to 594 kg. As can be seen, it is the ideal companion to help the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams to travel during the remaining 2022 season.
The unstoppable RAM 1500 at the disposal of the KTM race teams
As far as the specific vehicles are concerned, the black RAM 1500 TRX will be at the disposal of Red Bull´s KTM Factory Rider Tom Vialle and located in the paddock during the FIM Motocross World Championship races in Belgium, Sweden, and Finland. Meanwhile, a red RAM 1500 TRX will be given to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MXGP Team Manager and showcased in the Paddock during races in France and the Czech Republic. For the rest of the team, RAM has supplied the RAM 1500 Laramie and RAM 1500 Rebel models. These RAM 1500 setups set themselves apart for their combination of best-in-class performance, payload, luxury and technology. They are factory-made upgrades which do not compromise the professional nature of the vehicle. The two Laramie Night Edition and Rebel RAM 1500s also offer a further series of accessories which until now had only been available on the TRX version and include paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, a high-performing console mounted shifter and a metal pedal kit. Finally, the two setups contain luxurious interiors and an advanced infotainment system.
KTM: successful riders riding Factory Motorcycles
The fierce Motocross Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team features Jeffrey Herlings riding the KTM 450 SX-F and Tom Vialle riding the KTM 250 SX-F. On the other hand, the Enduro range is represented by Josep Garcia on a KTM 350 EXC-F and Manuel Lettenbichler riding his KTM 300 EXC.
The results didn’t take long in coming during this year: in fact, Tom Vialle is leading the MX2 class of the FIM Motocross World Championship and Manuel Lettenbichler recently won the Red Bull ErzbergRodeo, one of the toughest Hard Enduro races in the world.
Finally, Josep Garcia is the current FIM Enduro2 World Champion and Jeffrey Herlings is the 2021 FIM MXGP Motocross World Champion.
MXGP cooperation
RAM and MXGP are set to cooperate from the upcoming MXGP of Czech Republic, which is taking place in Loket, until the end of the season.
MXGP is the FIM Motocross World Championship and one of the biggest offroad championships around the globe, featuring the top MXGP and MX2 riders that go head-to-head during the series for the ultimate prize of being crowned the World Champion in their category and taking home the highly sought-after title. The FIM Motocross World Championship typically makes stops around the world, including Europe, Asia, South America, USA and more – along with the legendary Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations that brings together the best riders in the world for a unique team event that see’s each nation battles it out for the Chamberlain Trophy.
Thanks to this cooperation RAM will receive four advertising boards around the track and an activation area in the paddock/public area at all European events, which will give audiences in Europe the chance to learn more about RAM’s product range and become more familiar with the brand.
KWA alongside RAM for operations management at major Championship stages
The vehicles’ noteworthy appearance and their operations management at several stages of the Championships was entrusted to KWA.
